Fulani XL wood bowl

In the cow centred Fulani culture, milk bowls are important objects for the household. They are used as storage containers for fresh and curdled milk and grains.  Hand carved from one piece of wood, their delicate chiselling, smoke - derived patina and exquisite decorative treatment, these bowls could be considered as the true focus of aesthetic efforts of the Fulani people.
