Originating from the early mid - 20th century.A graphic Hehe stool with three ridged legs and old patina of use.The Hehe people lived in isolation on a highland in southwestern Tanzania, northeast of Lake Nyasa. With the exception of some pastoralists on the plains and some keeping a limited number of cattle and goats, the Wahehe were primarily an agricultural people. Please note each item is uniquely hand crafted so no two pieces are the same.Approx Size: 36 - 40 cm D x 30 - 35 cm H
